Terms of service

koona.app is the home of the Koona apps, made by RADIK ILIN PR BEOGRAD, a sole proprietorship registered in Serbia (“we”, “us”). These terms cover this website and every paid subscription to a Koona app. An app may add its own terms; on what is specific to that app, its terms apply.

The apps

Koona apps are free to download and use. Their code is open, under the licenses named in each app’s repository; those licenses govern the software, and nothing here takes away a right they give you.

Subscriptions

Some apps offer an optional subscription that adds extras. What each one includes and costs is on the pricing page. You never need a subscription to use an app or to keep your files.

Payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders: it takes the payment, handles taxes, issues receipts and answers questions about billing and returns. The Paddle Buyer Terms apply to the purchase itself. The checkout shows the price, taxes and renewal before you pay.

Your account

A subscription comes with an account for the email you used at checkout. It tells the app your plan, and you sign in on another computer with a code sent to that email. Keep access to that email. Your files are not part of the account: they stay on your computer.

Renewal and cancellation

A subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel it. Cancel any time in the app or from the link in Paddle’s receipt email. It then stays until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing more is charged. If a price changes, we tell you before it applies, and the new price starts at your next renewal.

Some apps also sell a fixed term paid once, such as Koona Pin Supporter for five years. It does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel; it ends when the term ends. How it starts, ends and works with a subscription you already have is in that app’s terms.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a subscription, or of a payment for a fixed term; renewals are not refunded. See the refund policy.

Fair use

Don’t share your account with other people, and don’t get around the checks that tell an app your plan. If you break these terms, we may end the subscription after telling you; we may suspend it at once to stop fraud or abuse.

If something goes wrong

To the extent the law allows, the apps and this website are provided as they are, without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A change never alters a period you have already paid for; important changes are announced in the app or by email before they apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts in Belgrade decide disputes. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live and may also go to court there.
